Welcome to my blog-style project portfolio space. It's a handy format for documenting the creative process of various projects I've undertaken.
It's also a nice journal/development space for thoughts and lessons learned along the way.
Take a look!
An outdoor recreation and bathroom space for our kitties.
A couple quick 3D printed projects -- a phone mount for the car, and a DSLR camera clip for hiking.
Pretty self-explanatory. Just a nice-ish end table. My first try at woodworking joints, edge banding, etc.
Another wall art board. Much like this website, the board functions as a display for my other projects.
Are you picking up on any themes yet? This project doubles as some pretty good wall art.
Taking lessons from my original shifter knob, I designed a new one to go with my new ride. I love this one.
My first attempt at mixing epoxy and wood. To improve: aesthetics and ergonomics of a shifter knob.
The next "big" thing on the horizon. The task: take an existing board game, Diplomacy, and automate the piece movement using a cool 2-axis rig and electromagnets and stuff. Also make it look freakin' sweet.
My introductory project into the joys of 3-D printer troubleshooting. Also involved: delving into a broad array of many cool skills, like organic 3D modeling in Blender (one of the best programs), miniature painting, and finishing. The one that started it all.
